Beijing Buffet in Port Lavaca

Very disappointing. I think the food must sit out all day because it does not taste fresh or look appeasing. Wouldn't recommend the buffet but have never tried to order off a menu. I assume it's the same disappointment.

I can honestly say, this is one of the WORSE and MOST Awful buffets I have ever eaten at. Food was cold, old, and no taste whatsoever. The supposed sushi bar was rundown and dishes piled high around area, not sure If clean, but looked so dirty and messy. Can only imagine the kitchen...really killed my appetite. DON'T RECOMMEND AT ALL..

The food is fresh, the service is good, the environment is clean and the taste is delicious.

Good eggroll im picky about them so thats why im giving it 4 stars . Lo mein was great also .

Cheap, but the food is really not good. I didn't like.

Personal I didn't like the food, probably because it was cold... I mean everything I got was cold... I went 2 hrs before they close but still they should keep the food warm... Very dissatisfied

My favorite time to eat here is Mon. to Fri. from 11:30 to 1:00. Wonderful assortment of vegetables!! The evening meal has too much sea food for my taste. As all buffets food is freshest when busy.

Everything is always good there

Good selection of food but the service was not that friendly. I actually had a waiter tell me where the lemons were on the buffet if I wanted to add them to my water. The decor also needs to be cleaned because it makes the place look dingy.

Wow! I've been here once before 2 years ago, it was....okay, but now, horrible! Everything tasted the same. Mostly everything was over cooked, or been on the buffet for way too long. The pineapple was fermented and smelled like beer! When I told the server about the foul smelling pineapple,she took the plate over to the other side, where she thought I couldn't see, and tossed it in the trash. She went about her business by the way, didn't alert any staff members. The whole experience cost almost $50 for cheap food and possible food poisoning! Steer clear. That's a warning. 😳

Exactly what I was looking for and exactly what you would expect! Not a single surprise, except they have crabs! I finished off their days supply! Lol

Most of the items were fantastic! Not full of additives most Chinese places use. Actual food. Not super sweet and great tasting.

Terrible,I don’t recommend it to the enemy,poor service rude waiters if there is 0 to rate them I won’t hesitate they brought the check without even picking up the plates!!!!!!

Obviously I'm obsessed with Beijing Chinese food. Lol. I'm so glad they're here. I could literally eat there twice a week. I just wish they'd bring back the old lo mein noodles, not really feeling the ones they have now. Other than that everything's great. Fresh and taste wonderful. Great place to dine in or take out.

Everything was just warm and nothing tasted really good. I am from out of town and would not go back even if I lived there. Others must think the same because@5:o.o the place was almost empty.

Food was good. Need to be hungry cause there is a variety to choose from. Plenty of vegetables if you like vegetables.

Absolutely the worst restaurant we could find in Port Lavaca. The service was horrible, the food was marginal and just overall not a clean place. All of the fried foods were over breaded, with not much meat in the middle.

Visiting Port Lavaca for the day decided to try this place out. Wish I had read the other reviews before selecting this restaurant. Sushi seemed off like it was expired..my sister and I both couldn't finish the sushi so something was off cause we love sushi rolls! Everything was decent, noodles a bit bland. At the end of the meal i was finishing my water and looked at my cup only to be horrified that a Cockroach had been in my drink the whole time! Had we noticed this at the beginning of the meal we would have walked out of this place. Being 7 months pregnant this made me so sick to my stomach and was a tough 1.5 hour ride home. The waitress did apologize and they said they would give us a 20% discount however we never knew for sure if they did..for we never saw our ticket price. We will never go back. =(

They have really good food but the place needs a major facelift. It looks very dingy and run down. It is also hot in there. Need to consider the customers and make the place feel comfortable and not sweat while they are eating.

Make sure you ask for a roll of toilet paper on the way out. You'll need it for the drive home

Never got a refill on my drink, no wontons in the wonton soup, food was cold and flavorless. Have regular light bulbs in the heat lamps.

Beautiful scenery it was like I took a chip straight to China and the food was fantastic!

Eat here on Christmas Eve late, so good! Everything I ate was fresh and hot and season just right! Atmosphere was great and waitress was wonderful . We were from out of town. We will be back next time!
